Biography

Joel is a mechanical engineering graduate from the University of Michigan and Automation Engineer at 3D Infotech. He grew up in Novi, Michigan, and has had a passion for learning how anything and everything works and being able to optimize and redesign products to maximize results. At 3D Infotech, Joel has gained experience integrating automation systems from design to testing and implementation, as well as programming FANUC and Universal Robots devices. While in school, he supplemented his studies through NASA’s L’SPACE program completing both the Mission Concept Academy and NASA Proposal Writing and Evaluation Experience as Lead Systems Engineer and Principal Investigator respectively. Joel continues his passion for automation, controls, and dynamics at work and in his personal projects.
